Join our Scripps team as a Lead Cath Lab Recovery RN responsible for providing direct patient care including assessment and planning and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. You will serve as the Care Unit expert and provide functional direction to the care team. Our team remains committed to professional development, best care practices and making patients feel comfortable with and informed about their treatment.
Required Experience/Education/Course(s)/Certification:
- Three years of cardiac ICU, Cath or EP Lab, PACU or PCU experience with knowledge of cardiac drips required
- BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must have experience with radial bands, groin management, and Femostops
- Must have experience with care of the critical cardiac patient and care of the post cardiac surgical/procedure patient
Preferred Experience/Education/Training:
- 3 years cardiac ICU/PACU experience preferred
- Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
