Job Description
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, PROGRAM AND EVENTS, MARTIN TRUST CENTER, Martin Trust Center, will design, lead, and implement all programs and events run by the Center; oversee most important and visible programs and events including delta v, the t=0 Festival of Entrepreneurship, Pozen Fellowship program, Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, Demo Days, Investor Days, Pitch2Match, Start MIT/Fuse, and a variety of other special events; collaborate with faculty, students, and Center staff to deliver programs designed to engage MIT students across the entire campus and help them become more effective entrepreneurs; and liaise with internal and external organizations, student clubs, and corporate members to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Job Requirements:REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of administrative, operations, and/or project/program management experience; excellent communication skills; understanding and interest in providing high touch customer service; a great team player and ability to work with others to bring out their best; ability to thrive in an environment with ambiguity, small failure, and imperfect information while attempting to bring order to it; ability and interest in planning and executing significant events; interest in the field of entrepreneurship; ability to identify problems, fix them, and take initiative in accomplishing tasks; solid computer and technical skills, including MS Suite, Adobe Suite, and ability to learn new programs quickly; and ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion. Salary range: $73,490 - $98,283 - $123,075, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
Hours may vary based on event schedule and workload. Ability and willingness to work early mornings, late evenings, and about 5 weekend days per year required for classes, programs, or events.
This role is required to be in person, on-campus, and based in Cambridge, Ma.
Travel, internationally or domestically, may be required approximately 2-3 times per year.
