Project Accountant II
Job Description
Sigma Defense is seeking a mid-level Project Accountant. The ideal candidate is someone who has a fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and or finance and budgeting, and has worked in project or traditional government account for 3-5 years.
We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, willingness to learn new concepts, and have regular verbal communication with project managers.

- 3-8 years of experience in finance or budgeting.
- 3-5 years of DoD project accounting experience.
- Affinity for finance and or math-related fields.
- Strong communication skills.
Computer Programs/Software Experience:
- Microsoft Suite - particularly Excel.
- Jamis Prime is a huge plus but is not required.
- Power BI a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, or similar field of study.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Project billing.
- Project accounting and financial analysis.
- Subcontractor invoicing management.
- Revenue analysis.
- Project setup and management.
- Communications and coordination with PMs and Contracts.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
