Sr. Manager, Program and Project Management

Your Role

The Network Management and Provider Partnerships: Strategic Planning and Performance team supports strategic planning and execution of strategic and operational initiatives. The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Performance will report to the Director, Strategic Planning and Performance. In this role you will lead strategic planning activities on behalf of Network Management and Provider Partnerships and oversee strategic and operational projects. Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience, including 4 years of management experience
  • 5+ years relevant experience in Network Management or Network Analytics preferred
  • 5+ years relevant experience managing complex, cross-functional projects at a health plan preferred
  • Experience managing senior leadership level stakeholders, including excellent executive written and oral communication skills, preferred
  • Working knowledge of Network Management operations, including contracting, network analytics, network provider compliance, and delegation oversight required
  • Experience with strategic planning functions including roadmap development and budget planning preferred
  • Working knowledge of common pay for value models, including accountable care organizations, preferred
  • Working knowledge of provider operations processes, including claims payment and dispute resolution, preferred
  • Experience evaluating and implementing new legislative and regulatory mandates for Network Management functions preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Agile certification preferred (scrum master or product owner)

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is: $ 136400.00 to $ 204600.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
