Job Summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan, you will ensure that all services (both our internally critical and our externally-visible systems) have reliability and uptime appropriate to users' needs and a fast rate of improvement. You will keep an ever-watchful eye on our systems' capacity and performance. This position will report to Albert Smith.

Who We Are

The Center for Statistical Genetics designs and carries out some of the world's largest human genetic studies with petascale genetic information, health data, and additional biological information on hundreds of thousands of human participants. We develop methods and tools that make these data and the insights they support available to thousands of researchers worldwide across academia, industry, and government.

Senior level: $80,762 - $99,765

Intermediate level: $66,822 - $82,545
