- 7 years of experience with Cyber Security cloud environments
- 5 years of experience with DoD security implementation (e.g. STIG) and security tools including HBSS & ACAS
- Security+, IAT2 level (CASP+ or CISSP strongly desired)
- EMASS access and 7 years of experience with all 6 steps for RMF lifecycle for Cloud-based platforms
- Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) with completed Security Assessment Plan (SAP) and Security Assessment Report for Security Control Assessor (SCA)
- Experience in Wiz scanning, including issue mapping, Security Graph analysis, and Kubernetes-based mitigations
- Experience with analyzing security principles of code for application assessment.
- Experience with PPSM drafting and modification of cloud environments for official review
- 5 years of experience with DEVSECOPS Principles
- Experience administering servers, backup operations, and systems monitoring in multiple and complex network server environments
- ACAS training certificate and experience running SSC LANT Security Center scans
- Bachelors or Masters degree in cyber security or info systems
- Ability to work and advise multiple cross-domain teams, manage conflict, and communicate both very technically and to a layman
- Expert knowledge with Windows and RHEL administration, in-depth knowledge of RHEL and Windows-based distros. Familiarity with a multitude of OSS tools and utilities for managing, monitoring and troubleshooting Linux infrastructure and networks
- Experience in managing networks, LANs, WANs, devices, device logs, utilization, i.e. firewalls, routers, and switches
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture, Microservice Architecture (MSA), or Representational State Transfer (REST) architecture(s)
- Experience managing/administering web server architecture including Apache Tomcat on a RHEL O/S
- Experience working with two or more of the following development components: GIT, Fortify, SonarQube, Chef, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, OKTA, F5 APM, and ADFS.
- Experience with Data Center migrations, server upgrades, O/S and firmware patching
- Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery; install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML4/5, XML, SOAP and SOAPUI
- Experience with middleware technologies Java runtime, and/or .NET runtime
- Experience using configuration management systems such as GIT, Apache SVN, or AWS CodeCommit
- Experience with network analysis software such as SD Elements, Splunk, Sniffer, Wireshark, or Microsoft Network Monitor
- 5+ years of system administration experience in Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMware products (e.g. vSphere Client, vROPS Manager) and networking equipment
- Self-starter that requires minimal direction and supervision; is open to new ideas, and is a creative and flexible individual who is comfortable working in a large, dynamic, and complex organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-changing environment
- Experience being part of an Agile or Extreme Programming development team
The US Space Force's Space and Missile Command (SMC), U.S. Navy's Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), and Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) are teaming together to develop the next generation of infrastructure and platform to support Space Command and Control. The project, Overmatch Software Armory (OSA), is in need of your support on its' Cyber team. - Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, Linux and Windows server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
- Applying standard industry best practices to evaluate, design, and upgrade enterprise and desktop technologies and configurations; performing virtualization, storage, and server management; and managing backups at various classification levels
- Utilizing knowledge of DoD 8500 Series Policies (DoDD 8500.1, DoDI 8500.2, DoD 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01 (RMF), CNSSI 4009, CNSS 1253, and NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-53
- Applying DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) to secure clients and servers
- Establishing and managing user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges, and security
- Installing, modifying and maintaining systems, network elements and utility software on virtualized servers
- Performing scheduled network tasks, updating anti-virus definition files, monitoring network servers, and providing internet and intranet user support
- Developing procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications, as well as other needed documentation
- Provisioning and maintaining information technology systems on virtual machines on premise
- Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies, performing technology research/evaluation
- Building trust with customers and fosters collaborative environment for team members and stakeholders
