Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the HR Talent Partner I will lead the recruitment of vacant positions for assigned client groups within University Hospital, while independently providing strategic and consultative recruitment services to UH business leaders. In addition, the HR Talent Partner I will manage the hiring process from application to offer, utilizing all talent acquisition practices, goals, and objectives, and consistently build internal and external relationships.
- Creates and executes recruitment strategies, including building a strong candidate pipeline of highly qualified and diverse talent for vacant positions.
- Establishes and fosters productive working relationships with hiring managers, internal and external candidates to achieve assigned hiring goals.
- Coordinates with hiring managers to determine position requirements and posting details.
- Collaborates with compensation team to determine appropriate and accurate salary recommendations.
- Schedules and conducts interviews using behavioral based methods to vet candidates.
- Ensures a professional and enjoyable candidate experience throughout the selection, interview process, and offer extension.
- Provides timely and effective feedback to hiring managers to aid in best fit candidate selection.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business, human resources management, or relevant field of study required.
- Three (3) or more years recruiting experience required. Experience with applicant tracking systems required.
- Working knowledge of ICIMs preferred.
- Ability to provide for the confidential treatment of all communications and records required.
- SHRM Certification preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve in a timely manner.
- Possess stronginterpersonal and customer service skills.
- Able to communicate clearly, both written and verbally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR team, HR client groups, and in group presentations and meetings.
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
- Dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to direction, and must be open to ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Proficiency with MS Office required. Intermediate level skills in Excel with data analytics experience preferred.
- Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.
- PHR certification is highly preferred.
